Ylvis, the Norwegian comedians world known for their song “The Fox”, came out with another comedic tune called “Ytterst På Tissen”. It was publically played early 2014 but recently a music video came out. A Norwegian term meaning “Tip of the penis”, one would think this track is nothing to take seriously. However, behind all the childish lyrics, you have one VERY seriously well produced electro tune. With an oldschool vibe, the tune is not far away from old Kraftwerk works. For a first electro track, they chose the right direction.
The lyrics don’t need much translation – it’s more than enough childish for anyone – but this one is definately worth a listen!
Also worth a watch is this funny live performance of Ytterst På Tissen from February 2014:
